There is a little parking lot but only couple spots and they’re usually taken. But found a spot outside fairly quickly. There are no reservations. So we came as a party of 3 and inside wait time was 2 hours. To sit outside was 1 hour but there are a ton of mosquitoes outside. Was a nice day so we sat outside. The service was amazing the server had knowledge about the menu and was very personable. She gave really good recommendations and the portions were a good amount. I loved the mussels they had so much flavor. Pasta and sauce was very flavorful. This place was highly recommended and I can see why. I would definitely be back

I had been dying to go here for years but never got around to it. I recently purchased a home and wanted to celebrate after my closing and ventured here. I had the lobster ravioli and it was divine.

The service was great! The food came out fresh, and everyone had recommendations. The fettuccine was 10/10. The dish was flavorful. The calamari was also delicious. The batter was seasoned and the red sauce had a little spice. Make sure you make a reservation because the tables were full the entire night. Great for a date night, birthday dinner or just getting some good food.

Cafe Silvium is nothing short of spectacular! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warmth and charm. The atmosphere is cozy and authentic—perfect for a relaxed yet elegant dining experience. The food? Absolutely outstanding. Every dish we ordered was bursting with flavor, clearly made with love and fresh ingredients. You can tell this place takes pride in its Italian roots. But what truly made our night unforgettable was Nikki, our server. She was beyond amazing—attentive, kind, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. Her recommendations were spot on, and she made us feel like we were longtime friends rather than just guests. It’s rare to find someone so genuine and passionate about creating a great dining experience. Cafe Silvium is a place you’ll want to return to again and again. Exceptional food, a welcoming vibe, and top-tier service—especially thanks to Nikki. Can’t recommend it highly enough!

Cafe Silvium is hands down my favorite restaurant, and truly one of the best Italian spots around. Every single time I go, the food is incredible—fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with so much care. You can taste the quality in everything. What really sets this place apart, though, is the people. The staff makes you feel so welcomed and taken care of every time you walk through the door. A special shoutout to Deb, Chris, and Fernando—they go above and beyond and are a huge part of why this place feels so special. Their warmth, attention, and genuine kindness make the entire experience unforgettable. If you’re looking for amazing Italian food paired with the kind of service that makes you want to keep coming back, Cafe Silvium is it.

It’s one of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to. Prepare yourself for a hefty wine pour, the friendliest service, and the most amazing food. Even when you’re stuffed, you can’t say no to dessert. My boyfriend, THE tiramisu aficionado, claims they have the best he’s ever had. I’d like you to try to have a bad meal here! On top of it all, the pricing is beyond reasonable. Cannot recommend enough!!

Excellent, authentic Italian food. I don't know how they do it with such an abundant menu and keep the quality of food so high. From the homemade fetucine and grappa to the perfectly cooked octopus and broccoli rabe, I cannot wait to dine here again! The owner/chef took time out to greet his patrons and ensure we were enjoying our meals.

Delicious Italian food, we loved every dish we ordered. Pasta was fresh & delicious. Phenomenal service from all their employees. Friendly, quick, attentive & helpful! Will definitely be back.

I came here early to avoid the long wait time and I now understand why this place is so busy. I had an exceptional dining experience here! They had a vast variety of food selections at very reasonable prices. It was hard to choose what to eat everything looked really good! I ordered the Fettuccine al Mascarpone with chicken cutlet and my boyfriend ordered the Gnocchi special with sausage. The food was absolutely amazing, every dish was full of flavor and truly exceeded my expectations. The wine was just as impressive. For dessert we ordered the Nutella cheesecake with Oreo cookie crust a homemade dessert, which was absolutely delicious and the perfect finish to the meal. Our survey Nikki made the experience even better. She was extremely attentive, accommodating, and provided outstanding service from start to finish. The atmosphere at Cafe Silvium was warm, welcoming, and overall amazing. I highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for great food, great service, and a wonderful dining experience. I will definitely come back again!

First timer at Cafe Silvium and loved the authenticity of the service and foods. Starting with, this was our first time but not by choice. We are last minute folks and it just won’t work with this place, you must plan well ahead and make reservations. Served by Chris, he was phenomenal from when we first arrived to when we left. He knew each item, what’s in it and even knew exactly the location of each menu item (list is comprehensive, lots of choices). His suggestions of drinks paired perfectly with the dishes he suggested as well. The menu makes you feel like at an authentic Italian restaurant, as most others are Italian American, this place is the real deal. The food was absolutely to die for. It was not over nor under cooked, the sauce really stood out and the dishes never had anything that was too overwhelming. It all fell into place together. And the prices were more reasonably priced than we expected. We met Vicenzo (one of the owners/brothers) and he was very caring ensuring our visit met our expectations. Going back next week (yes reservations are already made lol). This place by far, beats all Italian restaurants I’ve visited in the area, including the typically famous New Haven staples of Italian foods. You will NOT be disappointed!
